Medicine research and info
How healthy is the pharmaceutical industry? Is what they do really that healthy? These doctors share their knowledge. They have conducted extensive research into medicines and medical practice.

Dr. Peter C. Gotzsche
Denmark
Researcher and professor. Studied biology and chemistry. Worked as a pharmaceutical representative and product manager at the Swedish company Astra. He specialized in internal medicine and completed his medical training in 1984. Peter C. Gotzsche worked for the pharmaceutical industry and wrote several books about the mafia practices prevailing there. He therefore calls this industry "organized crime". Author of six books, including "Deadly Medicine and Organized Crime", "Deadly Psychiatry and Systematic Denial", and "How to Survive: A Guide to an Abundance of Medical Information".

Dr. David van Bodegom
The Netherlands
David van Bodegom (1978) trained as a physician and historian and works as an aging scientist at Leyden Academy. He is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health and Primary Care at the LUMC. During his medical studies at Leiden University, David van Bodegom became fascinated by the aging process. In his book "Ontpillen" (Unpilling), he shows how you can stay healthy much longer with small, smart adjustments to your daily routine. According to him, this is possible with far fewer pills, because there are many natural and healthier remedies than pills.

Dr. John Virapen
India
John Virapen was born in India but studied medicine and psychology in America and England. He began a career in the pharmaceutical industry in 1968. He became the director of one of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies in Sweden. To get medicines approved, he participated in corruption and the bribery of officials. Later, he began to realize that the pharmaceutical industry is solely interested in profit and not at all in consumer health. According to him, the pharmaceutical industry even creates new diseases to ensure revenue. He wanted to expose these practices and published his book “Side Effects Death” as an e-book in 2008. This book has been published in Dutch under the title "Bijwerkingen, welke somebody kunnen zijn" (Side Effects, some of which can be deadly).
Deceased: 1943-2015

Dr. Dick Bijl
The Netherlands
Former general practitioner, epidemiologist, and editor of a drug bulletin. Over more than 22 years, he scrutinized no fewer than 25,000 scientific studies. He found so many flawed, incomplete statistics, sloppy studies, distorted results, and concealed side effects regarding medicines that he could not draw a correct conclusion regarding their effectiveness. He has doubts about the safety of many medicines. Speaker and author of the book "The Pill Problem".
CCHR
Citizens Commission Human Rights
CCHR is a non-profit organization that protects human rights against misunderstandings and coercive practices in psychiatry. CCHR is non-political and non-religious in nature and has no profit motive. They conduct extensive research into vaccines and medications within psychiatry.
They collaborate with medical experts, including doctors, scientists, caregivers, and a number of psychiatrists. Together, they are rebelling against the biological branch of psychiatry, which clearly makes money through the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). With this handbook, psychiatrists can very quickly 'diagnose' a disorder and prescribe pills accordingly.
Before 1952, there were only 3 disorders. After that, these manuals were released:
- DSM 1 in 1952, containing 112 disorders.
- DSM 2 in 1968, containing 178 disorders.
- DSM 3 in 1982, containing 259 disorders.
- DSM 4 in 1994, containing 374 disorders.
Every year they invent more and more disorders to justify this with a medication. The DSM is politically driven, not scientific.
Nor is this handbook in the interest of the patient. Most psychiatrists have a diagnosis ready after just 10 minutes, along with the corresponding medication, without truly knowing the root cause.
And that is not to mention the damage caused by psychiatric medications. Want to know more?
