What happens when you heat vegetable oils?
We're so misled by the food and pharmaceutical industries. The word "plant-based" sounds so healthy. Yes, as long as you don't heat it and the oil isn't processed.
When you cook with vegetable oils or eat something made with these oils, the polyunsaturated fats turn into TRANS FATS.
Naturopaths, biologists, and researchers are making many warning videos about not heating vegetable oils and avoiding processed oils altogether . In English videos they call this: ''Seed oils''.
Vegetable oils (seed oils) are:
-rapeseed oil (American canola oil) --> Canola oil is said to be highly processed
- Soybean oil
-Sunflower oil
-Peanut oil,
-Cotton seed oil,
-Safflower oil
-etc...
Trans fats general health risks
Trans fats cause massive inflammatory responses , causing you to develop chronic diseases.
Many naturopaths emphasize the drastic reduction in testosterone in men, and the complete imbalance in women, where estrogen and progesterone levels are out of balance. Trans fats are hormone disruptors.
Research has shown the direct link between trans fatty acids and conditions such as:
-Cardiovascular diseases,
-Hormonal disruption
-Lowering testosterone
-Breast cancer/colon cancer
-Shortening the duration of pregnancy
-Risks of preeclampsia
-Disorders of the nervous system
-Visual disorders in infants
-Diabetes/obesity
-Increase your blood sugar levels
-Allergies
Trans fats are a major trigger for these conditions. Processed sugar is also a major trigger for developing chronic diseases, but trans fats are thought to trigger these conditions even more.
Of course, the combination with daily processed sugar and trans fats is asking for trouble.
And unfortunately, so many people eat these 2 toxic foods every day and think it's harmless.
Trans fats are so unhealthy that they've been banned from being added directly to our food. That's why they devise all sorts of tricks to poison us anyway. They sell vegetable oils in droves and don't tell you not to heat them. Usually, an illness is a multifactorial problem. They bombard us with toxins in all sorts of ways.
All prepared foods like cookies, cakes, pizza, bread, crackers, pastries, fried foods, hamburgers, etc. are made with heated vegetable oils and therefore contain trans fats. And that's not even mentioning the processed sugar and additives they add.

You have 2 types of situations with vegetable oils
You have a bad situation and a very bad situation . Both situations turn vegetable oils into trans fats.
Situation 1:
You can buy healthy, unprocessed, pure vegetable oil at a health food store or from a good brand in a store.
You heat the oil, and the molecules still turn into trans fats. Even a very good brand of olive oil from Italy, Greece, or Spain, when you heat the oil, the molecules turn into trans fats.
Olive oil cannot withstand heat .
If you want to stay healthy I would only serve olive oil cold.
Many won't like to hear this because they thought they were doing something healthy. But the food and pharmaceutical industries are working together and subtly poisoning us.

Situation 2
You buy vegetable oil at the supermarket that 's already been treated with additives and synthetics. The oil is still in a plastic bottle that's a hormone disruptor. The bottle usually looks very nice. And then people heat up the vegetable oil. This is really looking for health problems.

Which oil can withstand heat?
These oils can withstand heat and are suitable for cooking and baking. However, it's best to buy them organic or from reputable sources.
-Coconut oil --> do not buy deodorized coconut oil because it has been processed.
-Ghee
-Real pure butter --> preferably from an organic store
If you look online, they say you can use any kind of oil for cooking. It's a disgrace. There aren't many oils that can withstand heat.

Vegetable oils that are artificially hardened
Jesse van de Velde provides a good explanation. See Jesse van de Velde's blog.
It's bad enough that you heat vegetable oils and the molecules change due to heat. Then the food industry chemically and synthetically processes the oils.
Jesse van de Velde: Trans fats are unsaturated fats found in vegetable oils that have been artificially hardened. This process is called hydrogenation. The vegetable oils are hardened for easier use in cooking and to extend their shelf life.
During the chemical process, nickel, platinum, aluminium and copper are added and the grease is heated to a very high temperature.
However, the chemical processes used to harden vegetable oil create unhealthy compounds: these 'trans fatty acids' have a structure that does not occur in nature.
Trans fatty acids can also be formed if you heat vegetable oils to too high temperatures (150 to 200 degrees) (for example when frying).
Trans fats are toxic to your body, and your body doesn't recognize them. As a result, they are incorporated into cell membranes and damage all sorts of cellular processes.

The right ratio between omega 3 and 6
Essential fatty acids: omega 3 and 6 fatty acids
Polyunsaturated fats (omega-6 and omega-3) are essential because the body doesn't produce them on its own. We really need them. Both oils have their specific benefits. They are unstable fatty acids that are highly reactive and quickly become rancid.
These fats should therefore not be heated.
Correct ratio of omega 3 and 6
Your body uses the same enzymes to metabolize omega-3 and omega-6 , so these two compete with each other. For example, if you eat too much omega-6, it will affect the metabolism of omega-3. To support your body in this process, it's important to consume more omega-3.
Why do many people consume more omega-6?
Nowadays people consume more omega 6 than omega 3.
Since the late 1960s, vegetable oils have been gaining popularity and promoting them. Vegetable oils contain omega-6.
People heat their vegetable oils at home. Then they eat processed foods that are also made with heated vegetable oils. People have no idea which foods are processed with vegetable oils.
So they get an excess of omega 6 in their bodies.
Which foods are made with vegetable oils?
-cookies/ crackers/ bread
-Breakfast cereals and granolas
-Chips/ popcorn/ Tortillas and wraps/ ice cream
-Cakes/muffins
-Muesli bars/protein white bars
-Fried foods
-Various spreadable butters such as margarines
-Sauces such as: mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard Salad dressings, dips
-Marinades in bottles
-For marinated meat and poultry
-Canned tuna and seafood
-Frozen products, including meals and vegetables
-Coffee creamers
-Processed Yogurt
-And so on... the list is still very long
Actually it's simple:
Everything prepared for you in a factory is made with vegetable oils. We're really getting lazy. We don't cook fresh anymore. You can eat this every now and then, but not every day.
This lifestyle contains too much omega 6 and this is at the expense of omega 3.
You could say, "I'll take an omega-3 supplement," but these products aren't healthy either. You should avoid them as much as possible. Eat healthy omega-3 and omega-6 sources. Make sure your vegetable oils are served cold.

What should you pay attention to when buying oil?
1- Don't buy oil in clear glass
2. Don't buy oil in aluminum cans --> harmful packaging
3. Don't buy oil in plastic bottles --> highly processed
4-pack oil in dark glass bottle v
Healthy vegetable oils such as cold-pressed olive oil without chemical additives should be stored in dark glass and should not be exposed to (sun)light.
5. If the packaging states that it contains (partially) hydrogenated or hardened vegetable oils and fats, it contains trans fats. Some products contain more than others. They are found in cookies, pastries, cakes, bread, rusks, pizza, fried snacks, and puff pastry. Don't be fooled.
6- Lipid peroxidation process
Lipid peroxidation renders beneficial properties harmful
Lipid peroxidation is the destructive process by which polyunsaturated fatty acids lose their beneficial properties and even become harmful when exposed to oxygen.
Butter is also sensitive to lipid peroxidation (going rancid), so storing it in the refrigerator is best.
Lipid peroxidation also needs to be taken into account when preparing fish. Steaming and slow-cooking are the best methods.
All genuine natural fats and oils contain substances that protect the fatty acids, such as vitamins A, D, E, and K, and bioactive substances like polyphenols. Always ensure that products are removed from the refrigerator half an hour before preparing.
People are becoming aware of the poisons in our food. These photos are circulating widely on social media. Raise awareness of the harm and share this blog as widely as possible.
