Rachid A. Buttar: Believe it or not, a patient's emotional and psychological well-being are both crucial for healing. I'm going to show you how a person can die from an emotional and mental imbalance.
I treated two patients who subsequently died. I asked their families if I could perform an autopsy. You might be wondering why I wanted to do that? Because I believed these patients couldn't possibly have cancer.
One patient had died in 1999 and the other in 2001. After the autopsies it turned out that neither of them had cancer.
What's remarkable about this story is that the patients died quickly after being told by their doctor that they had cancer. They were actually told they would die. Both patients were healthy, yet they died shortly afterward.
That's the power of belief and fear. If you believe you're going to die, you will. Because these patients believed the doctors and accepted their explanations, they actually believed they were going to die. They lived in fear. What was interesting about the second patient was that he supposedly had liver cancer.
But the autopsy revealed no cancer in the liver. That man had the liver of a 35-year-old, even though he was 67. His liver was perfectly healthy. How could that be? Well, I had treated that patient in the meantime.
We cleansed his liver and rebuilt his health.
I now know from experience that if patients can't resolve their emotional and mental health issues, I can still lose them. I've never known a cancer patient who didn't have some form of deep-seated trauma or anxiety.
This person either has pent-up anger, frustration, trauma, or worries. As long as patients suppress these emotions and don't release them, they cannot fully heal or recover.
I often hear from patients who have recovered and recovered how grateful they are for having their illness. They tell me how they have been transformed, how it has changed their lives. They gain new perspectives they hadn't seen before. That gratitude and that experience is what cancer truly does.
Cancer really is a wake-up call.
I truly believe that in 20 years, no one will be afraid of cancer anymore. It will be nothing more than a harmless flu. As soon as you get cancer, you have to do something immediately. You have to approach it differently. God is essentially sending you an email, and you have to respond. Cancer is absolutely not a death sentence. It's only a death sentence if you believe it is .
