Visualization only works if you use your feelings and imagination

Dr. Roy Martina: Your inner critic is an echo of the past. By the age of 16, scientific research shows, we've heard over 180,000 times what we're not good at, what we can't do, why we're no good, what we do wrong, and so on. So, we've been given a huge amount of programming, and that's what we call our inner critic.
You know what, many people think, I'm going to start using positive affirmations. But positive affirmations generally work less well than claimed. That's because you're saying something that isn't true.
Imagine you're 40 pounds overweight, you look in the mirror, and say to yourself, "I'm thin." What does your subconscious mind or inner critic say? Haha, you're blind and you're lying! (Roy laughs)
If you tell your subconscious something that isn't true, it will resist. Because it sees it as a lie. Affirmations only work if you visualize yourself slim, if you feel slim, and say you are slim. Only then is that the truth for your subconscious. Your subconscious mind doesn't distinguish between imagination (fantasy) and reality.
You see, you can live in two realities. And we have to create a subconscious mind that synchronizes with our conscious mind. In other words, choose a reality we truly desire.
So it's not just about what we say. We have to feel it, we have to see it. These three senses must come together.
Auditory, kinesthetic and visual.
Only when these three senses converge do you truly experience and truly imagine it in your subconscious mind. You can do this by stepping into the future, where you've already achieved all your goals.
Another example: you say you're rich, but your bank account says something completely different. And even if you say this a thousand times, nothing happens to your bank account, no matter how positive you are. But as soon as you step into the future thinking you're rich, looking rich, and actually feeling rich, you send a different message. This can lead to coincidences.
A vacuum arises between where you are (I'm not rich yet) and who you are internally (I am rich). This creates a tension in your subconscious mind that needs to be resolved.
It's like the weather: you have high pressure and low pressure. They have to balance each other out to achieve equilibrium. Well, the universe does that for you. Then coincidences can arise to create balance.

Too many entrepreneurs fail in their business
Many entrepreneurs have the knowledge and the skills, but their mindset prevents things from going as planned. They sabotage their success through their mindset, often without realizing it.
I vividly remember a few years ago when I connected with someone from Business Bootcamp, a fairly well-known figure in the business world. His biggest frustration was that only ten percent of people were using his training. He gave them so many strategies and tools to be successful, but only ten percent were actually using them. He didn't understand why.
That's when I started working with him, so I could fill in that other part for his students. Because a lot of people have that element of sabotage in their mindset, something that happens at an unconscious level.
However I see it and name it... strategies, systems and that kind of thing or 'outergame' (your conscious mind): those are the things we do.
And we also have the "inner game": our subconscious, who we truly are. Often, what we do isn't yet in sync with who we are . This leads to conflict, loss of energy, frustration, high levels of stress, and self-sabotage. Things don't work out, and you feel like a failure. Life can become very difficult.
Only when these two are in sync again can things really flow, and then you get into the flow. I also work with athletes, getting them into the flow, which helps them win championships. I work with people who are stressed, like managers and musicians. The same principles apply to everyone. We need to align our conscious and subconscious minds. This allows us to achieve our dreams, our goals, and our successes.
