Foreword
We've translated the blog from Doctor Edward Group (Global Healing). He's a naturopath and detox expert. See the original blog post.

There are 3 things you can do to protect yourself from radiation:
1-Avoid unnecessary radiation as much as possible.
First look up what all produces radiation and then you can think about what you can eliminate.
For example:
-Avoid digital alarm clocks
-Avoid electric driving
-Stop using wireless wifi
-Use your mobile phone less (only when absolutely necessary)
-Avoid reading digital books (buy a real book)
-Avoid electronic cigarettes
-Stop scanning savings cards on your mobile phone --> you will be tied to your mobile phone
-Stop paying via your mobile phone (scanning), pay with your physical payment card --> otherwise you'll be stuck with your mobile phone.
-Etc...
Avoid digital living as much as possible. Don't be tempted to do something just because it's easier. Your health is very important.
2-Taking certain herbs and clays as a cure to detoxify.
In this blog we provide 13 natural sources that can remove radiation effects from your body.
3-There are certain stones that protect you from radiation such as Shungite.
You can attach the stone to your computer or use it as a necklace. However, we definitely recommend detoxing with the ingredients we'll discuss shortly. See the video below for information about Shungite stone.

Harmful effects of radiation exposure
Edward Group (Global Healing):
The damage from radiation is varied and depends on the degree of exposure.
Low blood count
Low-level exposure can, over time, lead to:
-Major digestive disturbances
-Changes in the blood (this is because radiation removes oxygen from the blood)
-Destruction of many cell structures in the body's major organ and tissue systems.
Common symptoms of exposure to low levels of radiation include:
-Fatigue
-Headache
-Nausea
-Sensitive scalp
-Discoloration of the scalp
-Dry/itchy skin
In extreme cases, prolonged exposure to low-level radiation can also:
-Brain damage
-Memory problems
-Mood swings
-Reduced listening skills
-Psychomotor skills
-Information processing times cause.
-Exposure to low levels of radiation over a long period of time can increase the risk of developing leukemia and lymphoma in the future
Low-level radiation exposure also affects blood circulation by reducing the number of lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. If you have fewer lymphocytes, you are at greater risk of infection. Radiation removes oxygen from the blood.
-The reproductive system is also vulnerable to radiation, and prolonged exposure can lead to infertility, birth defects, and stillbirths.
Exposure to high radiation levels (such as 5G)
Exposure to high levels of radiation can cause acute radiation syndrome or mild radiation sickness.
Symptoms can range from mild and flu-like to more severe, such as:
-Bloody vomit
-Hair loss
-Nerve damage
-Destruction of blood vessels
-High exposure can even lead to cancer or even instant death (heart attack)
13 of the Best Natural Remedies for Radiation Exposure
1. Nascent iodine
Radiation directly affects the thyroid gland, inhibiting its ability to produce thyroid hormones that require iodine, a crucial player in healthy DNA integrity, immune function, metabolic and endocrine balance, as well as cardiovascular health.
Nascent iodine supplementation helps counteract the damage caused by radioactive iodine-131.
What is nascent iodine? See blog post What is Nascent Iodine?
Nascent Iodine is one of the most bioavailable forms of iodine and can be effective in helping people exposed to radiation. Nascent helps reduce and prevent radiation damage to the thyroid gland.
Detoxadine® is Global Healing's standardized, nano-colloidal iodine. It's manufactured using a revolutionary process, making it gentler on your digestive system than other iodine supplements. I created my own (Dr. Edward Group) recipe, which is 99% pure .

2-Potassium iodide (potassium iodide)
In addition to radioactive iodine, the body can be exposed to a radioactive isotope of cesium, known as cesium-137, formed as a byproduct of nuclear fission. See article
Potassium iodide can prevent the accumulation of cesium-137 and reduce the damage caused by radiation exposure.
In fact, getting enough iodine is a good first step in preventing the retention of radioactive cesium-137 . To protect you from radiation, the potassium you get through your diet may not be enough.
According to the CDC, potassium iodide can play a significant role in protecting the body and thyroid gland after internal contamination, such as the explosion at the Japanese nuclear reactor. Potassium iodide is the best form of potassium to use for radiation exposure.

3-Calcium and Magnesium
Each of these essential minerals can decontaminate a form of nuclear waste known as strontium-90.
NEVER take calcium in isolation. Get enough calcium through food. There are plenty of plant foods that contain calcium. We already have an excess of calcium, and we're more likely to have a magnesium deficiency. The balance between these two must be right. Be sure to read Dr. Carolyn Dean's blog about magnesium-calcium.
Carolyn Dean is the Magnesium Doctor who has spent over 20 years researching magnesium and calcium.

4. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO)
Dimethyl sulfoxide is an antioxidant sulfur compound . Studies show that DMSO actively detoxifies the body and protects against the effects of harmful radiation. A Japanese study found that even small amounts of DMSO offered radioprotective benefits for human DNA and general cellular structures.
DMSO reduced DNA breakage by 80% in cells exposed to radiation and also neutralized radioisotope exposure. See article
Studies show that DMSO can help prevent damage caused by X-rays to the body's Kupffer cells in the liver and serous cells in the salivary glands. See article
DMSO also protected mice exposed to X-rays. This antioxidant increased survival in the mice by stopping the typical toxic reactions associated with radioactive free radicals.
Another study from the Yokohama City University School of Medicine in Japan found that DMSO had protective effects against cell destruction and DNA abnormalities in mice exposed to radioactive substances. See article

5-Zeolite
Zeolites are "crystalline aluminosilicates of alkaline earth metal cations"—or, more simply, crystalline rocks that have the remarkable ability to absorb radioactive strontium and cesium.
To give you an idea of how effective zeolite is, nuclear waste is typically "cleaned" or "stored" in the environment by mixing it with zeolite and packaging it underground. Zeolites can bond with nuclear waste at the molecular level and remove it.
One study even found that zeolite clay was an effective disinfectant for sheep affected by the nuclear waste disaster in Scotland after Chernobyl.
Zeolite clay can also be taken internally for detoxification after radiation exposure. Clinoptilolite zeolite, in particular, has been used for radiation detoxification.
During the Chernobyl disaster it was given in the form of biscuits and capsules to counteract the effects of radiation.
Perhaps the best evidence that zeolite helps detoxify radiation was its widespread use at the Three Mile Island , Chernobyl , and British Nuclear Fuels (BNF) Sellafield meltdowns, where it was used to absorb radioactive strontium-90 and caesium. See article
Similarly, United States nuclear weapons facilities use zeolites to coat walls and floors to prevent toxicity.

6. Clay
There are many types of clay that bind to nuclear waste in the body.
These include:
-kaolin,
-Red clay
-Bentonite (American clay)
-Fuller's Earth
-Montmorillonite (French green clay)
French green clay is another absorbent clay that has been shown to cleanse the body of radiation, toxic metals, and chemical residues. This shouldn't come as a surprise, as clay is often used by engineers and the environment itself to remove toxins from the body or soil.
Like zeolites, French green clay was also used at Chernobyl in 1986. The former Soviet government even added this type of clay to chocolate bars and cookies given to citizens to help them remove radioactive waste from their bodies.

7. Activated carbon
Activated carbon is another substance prized for its adsorption properties for radionuclides. Its radiation-deactivating properties have been observed since the twentieth century, as has its ability to neutralize many ingested toxins. See article
Studies show that activated carbon has the unique ability to neutralize radiation. A Japanese research team created a water treatment device using activated carbon that neutralized 90% of the radioactive iodine and cesium in water. See article .

8. Papain
Papain is an enzyme extracted from papaya fruit. It has the ability to reduce toxic substances. Some studies have shown that people taking oral proteolytic enzymes, including papain, experienced fewer side effects from radiation treatment compared to patients taking a placebo.

9. Bee pollen
Initial evidence suggests that bee pollen can significantly reduce the negative side effects of radiation exposure. Bee pollen has antioxidant properties, enabling it to scavenge free radicals generated by radiation in the body.
Research on rat brain cells has shown that applying bee pollen plus beta-carotene stops the effects of ionizing radiation. Because radiation exposure depletes many of your body's natural vital substances, such as white and red blood cells and antibodies, bee pollen is a natural way to stimulate these vital functions.

10. Beets
When exposed to radiation, hemoglobin in the blood is broken down. Studies show that beets can help the body rebuild this damaged hemoglobin.
Laboratory studies in animals have even shown that rats fed a diet rich in beet pulp showed reduced retention of radioactive cesium-137 compared to rats not fed beets. See article
Beets contain many antioxidants. See article
Eating a diet high in antioxidants had a strong anti-radiation effect in laboratory rats, increasing the number of bone marrow cells. See article

11. Cold-pressed organic vegetable oils
Oils like sesame oil, extra virgin olive oil, and coconut oil have been shown to be resistant to certain types of radiation. Sources recommend drinking 100 ml of oil if you've been exposed to high levels of radiation. Oils not only bind toxins but also provide a protective layer on cell membranes. See article .
Research in mice exposed to lethal X-ray radiation has shown that the mice have a higher survival rate, as well as greater cell regeneration in the testicles of male rats when fed olive oil.
Another study in mice found that olive oil could protect the mice from large amounts of X-rays.

12. Organic brewer's yeast
Sources recommend using organic brewers' products to avoid radiation exposure. Yeast cell walls contain glucans, which have strong antioxidant properties.
One study found that glucans increased the regeneration of hematopoietic stem cells in mice after radiation, which are young cells that can transform into any type of blood cell. See article
Combined with selenium, glucan had an even greater effect on cell regeneration. Some sources recommend giving 5 mg to 15 mg to children, and 25 mg to 50 mg to adults.
In cases of direct exposure, these amounts can be doubled or tripled. Brewer's yeast can help the body recover from exposure, as well as provide protection.

13. Organic germanium-132
Germanium-132 (carboxyethyl germanium sesquioxide) is an oxygen-rich, free radical-scavenging organic compound. When we are exposed to radiation, harmful electrons are released that kill blood cells (including hemoglobin).
Germanium-132 has been shown to trap these radioactive rays, allowing them to move freely within the nuclear structure of germanium-132, rather than entering human cells and the bloodstream.
This is related to germanium's ability to protect the amino acid cysteine in the human body. Other studies have shown promising results with the use of germanium-132 and a reduction in cell death in cells exposed to cesium-137 and gamma radiation. Currently, the Japanese recommend 100 mg per day. See article
