History of Salt
Dr. Robert O. Young: Harvested from the sea or wrested from the earth, salt seems to be one of the humblest commodities. Sodium contains a life-sustaining element.
Sodium chloride is essential for the nutrition and physiological processes of all animals, including humans. Long before the first written word, there are repeated references in archives and stories to the importance of salt as an essential part of the daily diet.
Salt has not only ensured the survival of humanity but has also colored the species' food, religions, politics, and superstitions. In ancient times, because of its power to preserve and purify, salt was sprinkled on legal documents to symbolize lasting agreement and freedom from deceit.
Humanity's efforts to obtain salt go back in history, as salt has always been essential to human life.
Salt is more precious than gold

“You are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? It is henceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.” Matthew 5:13
Ancient manuscripts tell us that over 5,000 years ago, the Chinese obtained salt by boiling and evaporating the ashes of seaweed. Later, people along the Mediterranean and Red Seas discovered that when seawater evaporated in the sun, salt remained.

This was the beginning of salt production and the same method of solar evaporation is used today in the production of many salts around the world.
Roman legionaries guarding the Via Solaria, one of the most famous military roads in history, received part of their wages in salt, their "salarium ." This is where the modern word "salary" comes from.

To this day, a good man is 'worth his salt' and we accept the dramatic pronouncements of others'
Many of the uses of salt, including the salting of fish and meat to preserve them, have remained virtually unchanged over the millennia. Its place in our superstitions and proverbs remains firmly entrenched.
Salt, embedded in the world's many cultures and a vital part of the global economy, is as essential to life as the air we breathe and the water we drink.
Surely there can be no product purer, more natural, or more environmentally friendly than salt. Pure saltwater, supplied and evaporated by nature, harvested to perfection by man.
Making salt in open pans is not new. In Mark Kurlansky's recent book , "Salt: A World History ," he suggests that in 450 BC, a Chinese named Yi Duan "is believed to have made salt by boiling brine in iron pans, an innovation that would become one of the leading salt-making techniques for the next 2,000 years."
Pressure cooking is still used, but open pots have been replaced by closed vats, output has increased, and the salt these plants produce has a uniform cubic crystal shape.
To revisit the open evaporation pans of the past, I developed the Great Salt Lake North Shore salt beds . The raw material for this salt is the combination of melting snow runoff from the Rocky Mountains in northern Utah and the salty North Shore waters of the Great Salt Lake at the foot of the Rocky Mountains.
These waters are evaporated using the natural processes of sun and wind. This produces a colloidal salt that feeds the open evaporating salt beds, creating the world's only 26% colloidal liquid mineral salt, which we call pH Miracle pHlavor mineral salts !

Interesting Facts About pH Miracle pHlavor Colloidal Mineral Salts
1) Our bodies contain almost 450 grams of salt , and every day we must replenish the salt our bodies use to maintain normal health, vitality, and alkalinity. Everything in our bodies is made of salt: your tears, urine, blood, stool, sweat, saliva, and semen. You must also replace the salt you lose. You need salt daily.
2) Salt plays a major role in helping the body digest food and convert it into living tissue, and also in transmitting nerve impulses that cause muscle contraction. For the body's cells to function normally, a salt/water balance must be maintained. Salt is also necessary to produce the sodium bicarbonate the body needs to alkalize the food we eat and maintain the alkalinity of our blood and lymphatic fluids.
3) pH Miracle pHlavor colloidal mineral salt tastes delicious. Minerals naturally present in the salt from the Great Salt Lake North Shore, as well as its crystalline form, enhance the flavor, allowing the salt to be used more sparingly.
4) pH Miracle pHlavor colloidal mineral salt contains more calcium and magnesium than regular sea or table salt, as these minerals are also naturally present in the water of the Great Salt Lake North Shore. Some people believe this balance of minerals has beneficial effects on the body. We certainly believe these minerals help enhance the taste of pH Miracle pHlavor colloidal mineral salt—taste it and compare it to your current salt.

5) When you 're tired and/or fatigued and need energy, that's a salt craving . All sugar cravings are salt cravings.

I've transformed the periodic table into an inverted pyramid. Salt is at the bottom and connects you to your soul. All other elements are created from this. For example, from salt, you create calcium. I've written and studied all the mathematical equations to validate the effectiveness of this process.

Features and Benefits of pH Miracle pHlavor Colloidal Liquid Salt by Dr. Robert O. Young.
1) pH Miracle pHlavor colloidal mineral salt is a vaporized salt that produces a unique three-dimensional crystal. It is produced by very slow, natural evaporation by the sun, creating a 30% concentration of a heterogeneous mineral salt solution.
The concentration of this salt is greater than that of the Great Salt Lake or the Living (Dead) Sea.
2) It is a very light-textured salt with a delicate flavor. This flavor is created by the unique crystal size and shape of the pH Miracle pHlavor colloidal liquid mineral salt.
3) Excellent for spraying over food, as its light texture makes it stick better – ideal especially for salting salads and other vegetables!
4) High surface area and low bulk density improve product adhesion. This makes it ideal for spraying directly onto food or in your mouth to initiate the alkalinization process.
