Mineral compositions of more than 20 types of salt. NATURAL salt contains valuable minerals!

Foreword

For years, we've heard that eating too much salt causes health problems. You can't possibly get sick from NATURAL salt because it's packed with minerals. It actually promotes health. What can make you sick is processed table salt.

In this blog post, we present the mineral compositions of 24 types of salt. This demonstrates how valuable salt is in your diet.

The mineral values are expressed per 100g.

We only show the minerals with the highest values. Of course, each salt contains many more minerals. But otherwise, it would be a very long list.

We also don't find all values. For some salts, you won't find any values. Sodium chloride (NaCl), a chemical compound that belongs to the larger class of SALTS

The compositions of some salts

World salt

1-Korea: Bamboo salt

Cleaned Seawater

--> Contains far more than 55 nutrients. Powerful antioxidant.

Bamboo salt has a pH of 9.9 , which is exceptionally high. It is heated in bamboo sticks at a high temperature, removing all toxins. The salt is pure and highly alkaline, and it's a powerful antioxidant. See the Bamboo Salt blog post.

Has high value in: Sodium (37.4), potassium (0.55), calcium (0.50), magnesium (0.52), silicon (0.056), sulfur (0.86).

2-Israel/Jordan: Dead Sea salt

Sea salt

The Dead Sea contains more than 35 different minerals, trace elements, and salts. It's not only the saltiest but also the richest in minerals. See the blog post on Dead Sea salt.

There is an exceptionally high concentration of potassium, bromine, magnesium, and iodine. Most people are deficient in magnesium and iodine. What many people don't know is that iodine is also a natural antibiotic. Therefore, a visit to the Dead Sea can drastically improve your health.

19-Italy: Sicilian salt

This pure, natural sea salt is extracted from the coasts of the Mediterranean Sea. The saltworks are located in large nature reserves, away from industry and large cities. The seawater is channeled to the salt marshes through centuries-old canals.

20-Greece: Greek flower of salt (fleur de sel)

Superior quality sea salt collected by hand in flakes

Calcium, magnesium, potassium and in very small amounts iron, zinc and manganese

21-Greece: Cyprus pyramid Yellow salt (lemon flavour).

Superior quality sea salt collected by hand in flakes

Yellow pyramid sea salt flakes. The sea salt flakes from Cyprus are very pure. 100% natural with the addition of natural lemon.

Mineral content Pyramid sea salt flakes: a source of iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc and iodine.

22-Greece: Cyprus pyramid black salt (active purchase added)

Superior quality sea salt collected by hand in flakes

Black pyramid sea salt flakes mixed with organic activated carbon. They help remove toxins from the body and give food an excellent flavor. Cyprus sea salt flakes are very pure.

Mineral content Pyramid sea salt flakes: a source of iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, manganese, zinc and iodine.

23-Greece: Cyprus pyramid Smoked salt

Superior quality sea salt collected by hand in flakes

Brown pyramid sea salt flakes. The sea salt flakes from Cyprus are very pure.

This salt is smoked in beechwood and undergoes a drainage process to remove seawater. No aromas are added. The flavor comes from the stewing process.

Only about 5% of all smoked salts are actually smoked. Most

Smoked salts are often mixed with smoke flavorings. These flavorings are usually synthetic. While the salt may be pure, the flavorings are harmful.

So when you buy smoked salt, make sure it is not filled with aromas, but smoked in a natural way on pure wood.

24-Denmark: Druid smoke salt (made in the Viking style)

Sea salt

Druid smoked salt is made from sea salt and smoked in the Viking style. The flavor can be varied by using different types of wood. For example, our sea salt is smoked with pure juniper berries, specially imported from Norway (because Norway grows very little polluting wood). This results in an intense smoky flavor.

25-France: Celtic salt

Sea salt

Sodium, sulfate, magnesium, calcium, potassium, chlorine, manganese, zinc, iron, copper.

It contains approximately 82 minerals. That's quite a lot . Celtic salt can promote fluid retention in cells. Many people are dehydrated. You can recognize this because they say they don't like water or can't drink it. Or their bodies swell. Or they retain fluid or have to urinate frequently. Celtic salt is the only salt that contains all 12 minerals. Celtic salt contains three types of magnesium: magnesium chloride, magnesium bromide, and magnesium sulfate.

If you have a serious mineral deficiency, this salt is ideal. Sea salt can contain heavy metals. So alternate with mountain salt or salt from salt mines.

26-Austria: Alpine salt

Rock salt

Be careful! Only buy pure, unprocessed Alpine salt. Alpine salt is often sold in supermarkets with fluoride and other toxins. Few companies sell pure, unprocessed Alpine salt.
