Foreword
Healthy World News has put together a tea that improves discomfort in your nose, throat and airways.
The tea is suitable for people who have symptoms such as:
Runny nose, sore throat, tickly cough, dry cough, hoarseness, cold, respiratory problems, asthma, lung discomfort, etc.
What is the difference between our root tea and leaf tea?
We also made a root tea that consists of 4 herbs
( Licorice root, Echinacea root, Sarsaparilla root, Ginger root)
These are just dried roots. Leaf tea is just dried leaves.
Both teas loosen mucus and are ideal for sore throats, colds, runny noses, coughs, hoarseness, allergies, and throat irritation. Both are powerful anti-inflammatories.
The leaf tea is more suitable for asthma, and all kinds of respiratory discomforts.
Root tea has a more cleansing effect and anticancer properties. It's also slightly more antifungal. Root tea also supports your hormones. See the blog on carrot tea.
Leaf tea for nose, throat, airways and cough contains 4 herbs:
-Peppermint cut leaf
-Eucalyptus cut leaf
-Lungwort cut leaf
-Mullein cut leaf
Benefits of Carrot Tea
When you mix the 4 herbs together you get a powerful effect.

Taste
Eucalyptus and peppermint combine to create a minty, cool, refreshing, and soothing flavor and aroma. The tea tastes refreshingly fresh and sweet. Lungwort and marigold have a refreshing, spicy, sweet flavor. Honey makes it even sweeter.
Dose
Drink 2 or 3 cups a day
Preparation method
Method 1: You can simply boil water. Place the herbs in a tea bag. Let it steep for 5 minutes. And your tea is ready. Enjoy the refreshing tea. The photo shows the original herbal blend for the throat. The tea has a brownish color.

Method 2: You can warm the tea in a saucepan to release more aroma. Heating it in a saucepan makes the herbs more potent, making the tea slightly more medicinal. Place the saucepan over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
If you have symptoms, we recommend that you warm it up in a saucepan.
TIP: If you have a sore throat or a tickly cough, we also recommend eating 2 to 3 teaspoons of fresh, pure honey. This lubricates your throat, soothes the sore throat, and reduces the tickle. Honey loosens mucus and is packed with nutrients.

Preparation
-Put 2 large cups of water in your saucepan
-Add +/- 1 or 2 teaspoons of herbs to your pan
-Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a low heat
-Use a tea strainer to catch your herbs and scraps
-You can add some lemon and honey at the end.
--> The honey and lemon make the tea very tasty
TIP:
Buy only organic honey --> supermarket honey is often processed, and sugar and flavorings are added. Buy pure honey from a beekeeper .
-Buy Organic Lemon.
-Avoid microwave at all costs!
No tap water! Use distilled or sparkling water. Or water from a health food store.
