Foreword
Healthy World News has put together a tea that improves discomfort in your nose, throat, and lungs.
This happened because I developed hoarseness. I was standing in my herbal store and I thought, "I'm going to choose the best herbs for my hoarseness."
I let two friends try some tea, and they thought it tasted deliciously refreshing. That's how this tea was born. We sell this tea in our herbal webshop. See our webshop for this tea.
The tea is suitable for people who have symptoms such as:
Runny nose, sore throat, tickly cough, dry cough, hoarseness, cold, lung problems, etc.
What is the difference between our root tea and leaf tea?
We also have a leaf tea made with four herbs (peppermint, eucalyptus, lungwort, mullein). These are dried leaves only. The root tea is made with dried roots only.
Both teas loosen mucus and are ideal for sore throats, colds, runny noses, coughs, hoarseness, allergies, and throat irritation. Both are powerful anti-inflammatories.
Leaf tea is more suitable for asthma and all kinds of respiratory ailments. See the Leaf Tea blog .
Root tea has a more cleansing effect and anticancer properties. It's also slightly more antifungal. Root tea also supports your hormones.
Carrot tea for nose, throat and cough contains 4 herbs:
-Licorice root
-Echinacea root
-Sarsaparilla root
-Ginger root
Benefits of Carrot Tea
When you mix the 4 herbs together you get a powerful effect.
The tea works well against:
-A sore throat
-Hoarseness
-Mucus in the throat or nose
-Cold
-Inflammations
-Antimicrobial
-Antifungal
-Strengthens your immune system
-Strong anti-inflammatory

Benefits of sarsaparilla
Sarsaparilla has cleansing benefits
Blood Cleanser – Historically, Sarsaparilla was important in helping purify the blood and supporting the liver and kidneys in “cleaning out” and removing toxins.
Detoxification - Sarsaparilla is a diuretic (makes you urinate), promotes sweating and also binds to toxins in the intestines – all of which help keep your body clean from the inside.
Expectorant - Sarsaparilla eliminates the buildup of mucus in the respiratory system and sinuses, helping to expel it from the body.
Immune Booster - Sarsaparilla strengthens the immune system and is an expectorant, making it a popular treatment for coughs, colds, and seasonal flu.
Inflammation - Sarsaparilla reduces swelling in the joints caused by arthritis, soothes joint pain, and calms the painful swelling caused by gout.
Native American Medicine - Native Americans made tea from the Sarsaparilla root for coughs and colds, ringworm, and skin conditions.
Weight Loss - Sarsaparilla is known to suppress appetite and improve digestion, both of which can aid in weight loss and improve nutrient absorption.
Cancer prevention - the antioxidants in Sarsaparilla help neutralize free radicals and may slow the development of cancer cells.
Aphrodisiac - Sarsaparilla increases sperm mobility, increases libido in men by increasing blood flow to the penis, and increases fertility in women, and improves overall sex drive in both men and women.
Hormonal Balance - Sarsaparilla's saponins and plant sterols mimic the effects of our own natural sex hormones, promoting healthy sexual function and desire.

Taste
Root tea has a surprisingly refreshing flavor. Root teas have a slightly deeper, earthy flavor than leaf teas . The combination of ginger and licorice makes it pleasantly sweet and refreshing. Adding honey makes it truly delicious.
Dose
Drink 2 or 3 cups a day
Preparation method
Method 1: You can simply boil water. Place the herbs in a tea bag. Let it steep for 5 minutes. And your tea is ready. Enjoy the refreshing tea.
Method 2: You can warm the tea in a saucepan to release more aroma. Heating it in a saucepan makes the herbs more potent, making the tea slightly more medicinal. Place the saucepan over low heat for 5 to 10 minutes.
If you have symptoms, we recommend that you warm it up in a saucepan.
TIP: If you have a sore throat or a tickly cough, we also recommend eating 2 to 3 teaspoons of fresh, pure honey. This lubricates your throat, soothes the sore throat, and reduces the tickle. Honey loosens mucus and is packed with nutrients.

Preparation
-Put 2 large cups of water in your saucepan
-Add +/- 1 or 2 teaspoons of herbs to your pan
-Let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes on a low heat
-Use a tea strainer to catch your herbs and scraps
-You can add some lemon and honey at the end.
--> The honey and lemon make the tea very tasty
TIP:
Buy only organic honey --> supermarket honey is often processed, and sugar and flavorings are added. Buy pure honey from a beekeeper .
- Buy Organic Lemon.
-Avoid microwaves at all costs!
No tap water! Use distilled or sparkling water. Or water from a health food store.
The original old way of making tea.
In the Gezond Wereldnieuws webshop we sell this root tea for nose, throat and cough.
