What is zeolite?

Zeolite is a 100% natural, volcanic clay mineral. Zeolite is formed when volcanic ash landed in the sea. The volcanic ash particles reacted with the sea's salt ions, forming a clay layer on the seabed. Over the years, this porous clay layer developed into the volcanic mineral: zeolite.

Zeolite is a silica-based volcanic ash (a sand-like mineral) formed over time by the chemical reaction of lava and volcanic ash with seawater. This produces a molecule with a strong "cage-like" shape and a negative charge.

There are different types of zeolite

Various types of zeolite occur in nature, including Heulendite, Mordenite, Natrolite, Analcime, etc.

'Zeolite' is a collective name for more than 240 different structures (or frameworks), more than 40 of which occur in nature.

The most common types of zeolite include:

Clinoptilolite

Analcime

Mordenite

Chabazite

Stilbite

Natrolite

Zeolite is actually clinoptilolite

There are numerous natural zeolites, but they are also imitated for industrial applications. Of the natural zeolites, clinoptilolite is the only one suitable for human consumption. When we talk about the effectiveness of zeolite, we actually mean clinoptilolite.

There is only one type of zeolite used worldwide as a detoxifying agent. Clinoptilolite Zeolite (85% Clinoptilolite, 15% Dolomitic minerals) is used internally for detoxification.

The structure of zeolite

Zeolite is a collective name for minerals with exceptionally regular structures and chemical compositions. Zeolite is porous; like a sponge, it contains countless tunnels. These are filled with ions and sometimes water. This unique structure gives it characteristic properties that can be used both in industry and for our health.

Zeolites are porous minerals with a high absorption capacity and ion exchange capacity.

History of zeolite

The ancient Romans used zeolite before Christ for bridge construction.

In 1756, the Swedish mineralogist Axel Cronstedt was the first to characterize and name the mineral.

Zeolite comes from the ancient Greek word

Zeo = cooking

Lithos = stone

Research Zeolite Clinoptilolite and its effects on our health

Dr. Krešimir Pavelić has been researching the effects of zeolite on our health for over fifteen years. He has also published his findings in a book. See the photo below.

There are many positive stories about the health benefits of clinoptilolite. Researchers Dr. K. Pavelic and Dr. Slavko Ivkovic have conducted research on this. Zeolite is said to stimulate the immune system, improve mineral and acid-base balance, and even have a positive effect on cancer.

Benefits of Zeolite Clay

-Powerful binding agent for detoxing

-->excellent against fungi, mycotoxins.

-->Removes heavy metals and other metals, including lead, cadmium, arsenic, mercury, nickel, tin and aluminum.

-->Zeolite binds to zaflatoxins, nitrates, pesticides, herbicides, glyphosates, fluoride, histamine and other waste products.

-->Zeolite is known as an environmental disinfectant. It can purify water and soil.

-->Zeolite may also have a detoxifying role in the removal of toxic metabolites produced by drugs administered chronically during chemotherapy, diabetes or cardiovascular disease.

-->Reduced radioactivity. Zeolite was also used on humans, animals, and plants to reduce the radioactivity of Chernobyl. A clear improvement was observed.

-Reduces inflammatory reactions.

-Antioxidant.

-Alkalizes the body.

Does not dissolve in stomach acid, water, or fat. Passes through the body completely intact.

-Improves intestinal flora

-Improved immune system.

Because 70% of the immune system is produced in the intestines, zeolite can also improve your immune system. When your gut flora improves, your immune system also improves.

-May increase the integrity of the intestinal wall.

-Brain improvement (Given that the intestines are connected to our brain)

If you can detoxify and improve your gut, you can also improve your cognitive health.

Discussion of health benefits of zeolite

1-Zeolite-clinoptilolite removes heavy metals and other toxins

Most of the clinical positive effects of Zeolite are attributed to its reversible ion exchange and adsorption capacity .

In this research they examined different animals. See research

She concluded that zeolite can remove various toxins such as:

-Fluoride

Zeolite can therefore bind to heavy metals such as lead, cadmium, arsenic, chromium, and nickel. It goes without saying that this is beneficial for health.

Heavy metals can displace trace elements and minerals, causing a deficiency in the cells despite sufficient intake.

Heavy metals can displace your nutrients

-For example, mercury can block the function of selenium

-Mercury can also displace iron, copper, and zinc.

-Cadmium displaces zinc from its place in enzymes,

-Nickel blocks magnesium,

-Lead blocks calcium

-And so on.

By taking clinoptilolite zeolite, such metals are bound and can no longer cause harm. See research

In another 2019 study, zeolite was able to remove uranium from groundwater by adding natural clinoptilolite zeolite.

2-Zeolite reduced the damage from the Chernobyl disaster

The Chernobyl disaster had a serious impact on nuclear waste. Radioactive substances were released into people, plants, and animals. When zeolite was applied to the people, plants, and animals, the damage was reduced. See article.

3-Improved immune system

Because zeolite has a detoxifying effect and reduces free radicals in the intestines, it can strengthen the immune system. Seventy percent of your immune system is produced in the intestines. So, if you detoxify your intestines, your immune system can function better.

Through this research, they write a lot about the improvement of the immune system. See research

4. Research shows positive effect of zeolite on leaky gut

A 2015 study published in the Journal of the International Society of Sports Nutrition By Dr. Manfred Lamprecht. The double-blind study involved a twelve-week intake of six capsules daily, totaling 2 grams of zeolite (Panaceo brand). The conclusion was that zeolite had a positive effect on leaky gut. See the study.

5-Zeolite improves the integrity of the intestinal barrier

Zeolite clinoptilolite (ZC) reduces ammonia concentrations and improves the integrity of the intestinal barrier. Furthermore, zeolite affects the lymphoid tissue in the intestines, which positively influences the intestinal ecosystem and stimulates the immune system.

Zeolite utilizes metal ions, present in its structure, as cofactors for the activation of antioxidant enzymes.

One study specifically focused on administering a specific PMA zeolite (Panaceo Sport) to endurance-trained subjects likely on a high-protein diet. They often experience intestinal symptoms such as nausea, stomach and intestinal cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea.

These unpleasant conditions can result from excessive protein fermentation associated with increased ammonia release in the intestine. Excessive exercise can also compromise intestinal permeability and trigger cell-mediated inflammatory responses.

Supplementation with PMA-Zeolite improved their intestinal barrier integrity, reduced zonulin concentrations, a marker of increased intestinal permeability, and may also have positive effects on nausea and diarrhea. Despite this evidence of zeolite's detoxifying effects, there are still few human clinical studies. See research

6-Antioxidant

Free radicals damage our cells. Antioxidants neutralize these free radicals. If we develop too many free radicals and consume too few antioxidants in our diet, we develop oxidative stress. Oxidative stress leads to typical chronic diseases such as obesity, atherosclerosis, neurological diseases, and cancer, among others.

So antioxidants are important for neutralizing free radicals.

In this 2019 animal study, she concluded that dietary zeolite supplementation had improved effects on growth performance and gut oxidative status.

In another 2019 study, they conducted research on various animals and observed fewer free radicals in the intestines. They observed an antioxidant effect on the animals.

7- Makes the body alkaline

Another well-known benefit of zeolite is its ability to help the body balance its pH by providing alkalizing minerals and supporting kidney function. Through its cleansing effects and the minerals it contains, zeolite can balance pH.

This research demonstrates how they can neutralize the pH of water using zeolite clay. See the research:

Many acidic foods such as:

-Processed sugar

-White bread

-Candy and cookies

-Cola and Redbul and all sugary drinks

-Alcohol

-Pesticide

-Chronic stress

-Etc...

These foods are acid-forming in the body, while most green vegetables are alkalizing for the body.

An overly acidic body shows signs of overload, such as headaches, chronic inflammation, mood disorders, persistent fatigue and much more.

Alkalizing minerals help buffer acid in the body. A properly purified zeolite contains alkalizing minerals. The zeolite provides the body with the beneficial mineral and, in return, absorbs the harmful toxins.

The biggest role zeolite plays in alkalizing the body is the way it helps the kidneys. Your kidneys maintain your internal pH. However, many heavy metals harm kidney function.

Because zeolite can help your body eliminate heavy metals, it supports optimal kidney health, allowing your kidneys to efficiently balance your body's pH. See article

8-Anti-inflammatory

Several published reports have explained the anti-inflammatory effects of zeolite, with some of these reports emphasizing the relationship between PMA-zeolite and its site of action at the intestinal level. See research

9-It improves your cognitive health (brain)

The intestines are connected to the brain. They often say, "The intestines are your second brain." See research .

When you experience anxiety, stress, or depression, this affects your gut. Food is digested less effectively, or your gut flora deteriorates, which can lead to symptoms like constipation or diarrhea, which can impact your immune system.

This also works the other way around.

When your intestinal flora becomes unbalanced due to, for example, poor nutrition, toxic substances, or the use of chemical medications, this affects your brain and how you feel.

Diseases begin in the gut. If you detox from toxins, your gut will function better, which automatically affects your brain health. Zeolite has a beneficial effect on the gut.

When you detox you can experience several neurological benefits such as:

-Your mood can improve

-Your focus can improve

-Your alertness can improve

-you can improve your thinking

-you can cope better with stress

-You feel more like doing things

-You take more action

Alzheimer's/dementia --> Alzheimer's is caused by heavy metal poisoning and medications like statins. It can also be caused by various toxins. A detox can therefore cleanse the brain and improve its functioning.

Just search on google : Alzheimer heavy metal toxicity

These research articles reveal that the cause of Alzheimer's is known to be poisoning (including mold). However, mold is caused by heavy metals and various toxins. Heavy metals also trigger inflammatory reactions in the brain. Avoid heavy metals, fluoride, glyphosate, and phosphoric acid, etc.

So someone who has Alzheimer's or dementia would certainly benefit from doing a detox cure.

10-The effect of ammonium on health

Ammonium is produced in the liver during protein processing and in the large intestine by bacteria. In a healthy environment, ammonium is converted into urea and excreted through the kidneys.

Excessive ammonium can be caused by eating too much protein, liver dysfunction, and disrupted intestinal flora. The ammonium is then absorbed into the bloodstream as ammonia gas, crosses the blood-brain barrier, and enters the brain. Neurological disorders can occur. Clinoptilolite zeolite binds excess ammonium.

There was also a 2019 study from the University of Malaysia that investigated various materials for ammonium ion adsorption. Ammonium ion adsorption was performed using zeolite, chitosan, bleached fibers, and activated carbon. Zeolite demonstrated the highest adsorption capacity (3,160 mg/g) with a fast response time . See the study .

11 Benefits for Skin and Dental Care

Zeolite has anti-aging effects: Zeolite's ability to neutralize harmful free radicals can have a positive impact on skin aging. By reducing oxidative stress and promoting detoxification, zeolite supports a more youthful and radiant complexion.

Zeolite is one of the few negatively charged minerals in nature, meaning it can bind and remove toxins from your skin. This powerful mineral works to attract and remove impurities and protect your skin.

How do you use zeolite as a mask for acne, impure skin, anti-aging?

Mix 1 tablespoon of zeolite powder with 2 tablespoons of water to form a paste. Apply it to your face and leave it on for up to an hour. It deeply cleanses your pores and helps repair existing blemishes.

For an acne mask, you can also add a few drops of tea tree essential oil.

Use zeolite for your toothpaste and/or tooth powder

You can also make your own toothpaste or toothpowder using zeolite clay. Zeolite cleanses and deacidifies your mouth. Acids are the cause of tooth decay.
