Foreword

Dr. Edward Group (Global Healing) recommends first doing a colon, kidney, and liver cleanse before starting a parasite cleanse. It's not necessary, but it's recommended. Most people have some kind of fungal or parasite problem.

When your intestines, liver, and kidneys are clean, fungi and parasites can be removed much more effectively. It's a very logical order, which is why this blog about colon cleansing was created. There are several ways to perform a colon cleanse. We offer tips with pros and cons.

Healthy World News has also created a colon cleanse recipe. We've chosen a specific method. In this blog post, you'll learn why.

What is the function of the large intestine?

The function of the large intestine is:

-Absorbing water and nutrients from indigestible food.

-The processing of waste and the formation and elimination of feces.

-It also helps with beneficial gut bacteria.

-It helps regulate bowel movements and fluid balance.

-70% of the immune system is made in the intestines.

If your intestines contain too many toxins or parasites, you'll experience health problems. Your intestines are your second brain. If your intestines aren't healthy, your mind won't feel good either.

Do We Need a Colon Cleanse?

According to Ayurvedic principles (also recognized by naturopaths), toxins accumulate in the colon over time. These toxins not only hinder the functioning of healthy bacteria in the colon but can also cause various health problems. We are being massively poisoned by the food and pharmaceutical industries. Even packaging is full of toxins.

It's no wonder our organs become overloaded with toxins. As a result, many people experience symptoms they can't get rid of. No conventional doctor will recommend a detox program; they'll just inject you with even more toxins through their medications and vaccines. Many naturopaths emphasize the importance of doing a detox program at least once or twice a year.

How do you know you need a colon cleanse?

-Gas formation and bloating

-Irritable bowel problems

-Intestinal pain and intestinal problems

-Constipation

-Heartburn

-Poor digestion

-Smelly farts

-Bad breath

-Excess belly fat

-Being excessively tired

-Food sensitivity

-Dry skin and dry hair

-etc...

Benefits of Colon Cleansing

Some of the benefits of colon cleansing include:

-Improves the absorption of vitamins and minerals

-Your body can detox better naturally

-If toxins are reduced, inflammation can also be reduced

-It increases your metabolism

-Improves energy levels and fat burning

-Improves your intestinal flora

-Reset the microbiome

-Increases mental alertness

-Helps with weight loss

-Prevents constipation

-Promotes better sleep

-Strengthens the immune system

-Clean skin and improved complexion

- Balances the doshas --> Ayurvedic medicine

-Reduces the risk of cancer, especially colon cancer

What types of colon cleanses are there?

Laxative methods: laxatives such as magnesium oxide and fiber --> This method is ideal for quickly relieving constipation. It is often taken as a supplement.

2- You start working with natural remedies: fruit, vegetables, herbs, drinking water, fasting, exercise, etc. This is the best and safest way to cleanse your intestines.

3-Water flush at home: This is a water or salt flush where you drink a little more and use salt and lemon to flush your bowels. Below, you'll find links to the water and salt flush (water flush).

Colon hydrotherapy: You can also have your colon cleansed. This is not self-contained. It involves flushing the colon with fluids to remove waste. The water is delivered to your colon through a device. There are two types of colon hydrotherapy:

1-Colema

2-Enema (enema)

There are, however, disadvantages to this method:

You flush your electrolytes (minerals): Your organs, blood vessels, nerves, and muscles need minerals to function. A sudden electrolyte deficiency can lead to serious health problems.

-You flush away too much moisture : The Colonics (flushing) remove waste products, but sometimes also removes excess fluid. Losing too much fluid can lead to dehydration. If you don't drink enough, you can become dehydrated. Sometimes, this can be extreme, and you may develop kidney problems.

-You flush away good bacteria: This can throw your intestinal flora out of balance.

Bowel perforation: Bowel perforation occurs when a tear occurs in the lining of the lower intestine. It is considered a medical emergency. While symptoms begin with fever, pain, chills, and nausea, they can worsen and even be fatal.

ree

What are some ways to keep your intestines clean?

There are different approaches to cleansing the bowels such as:

A-Laxative methods:

1-High fiber intake:

This can be done through supplements or smoothies. I'm a proponent of doing this with fruit and vegetable smoothies. Juices and smoothies provide plenty of fluids and fiber. If you drink them in liquid form, you'll absorb the fiber much better and faster.

Fiber is an essential macronutrient in our diet. It promotes bowel movements and helps eliminate waste. It also regulates constipation and overactive bowels, while promoting beneficial bacteria as a prebiotic. Fruits and vegetables contain cellulose and fiber, which help break down excess matter in the colon. They truly get your bowels moving.

It is found in wholesome plant foods such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds.

2-Magnesium oxide: This is taken as a supplement. It promotes healthy bowel movements. Naturopath/detox expert Edward Group (Global Healing) offers the best and purest magnesium oxide supplement. It's not intended for constant use. Occasionally taking it isn't harmful. If you experience frequent constipation, you may need to adjust your lifestyle.

B-Natural remedies for home

Intermittent fasting: fasting for 14 or 16 hours or longer is a method for cleansing the colon. It helps the kidneys and liver remove harmful toxins from the body.

Drinking water, fresh fruit and vegetable juices during fasting are necessary, because when you detox your organs need nutrients.

We have a video on Rumble with more information about intermittent fasting for a colon cleanse. Watch the Rumble video.

2-Juices and smoothies: Drinking fresh fruits and vegetables in liquid form provides you with plenty of vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and fiber. By drinking fresh fruits and vegetables in liquid form, your digestive system works less hard, your nutrients are better absorbed, and waste products are more easily transported. You can do this for a few days. This is a popular method among naturopaths and detox experts. It's safe and healthy.

Furthermore, eating fruits and vegetables can help improve the gut microbiome and the movement of food through the intestines. It can also help reduce constipation.

People often remove the pulp and peel when juicing, but this will result in less fiber and nutrients. Smoothies are much higher in fiber.

Through this study, she demonstrated that after three days of fruit and vegetable juice, weight and gut microbiome improved. They observed a positive effect of antioxidants. They also saw an increase in nitric oxide (nitric oxide). Nitric oxide provides benefits for the heart and blood vessels, urinary tract, digestion, skin, arthritis, and so on.

3-Enzyme intake: --> this can be done through juices and smoothies, but also through supplements

4-Lemon water and honey: Mix fresh lemon juice, a teaspoon of honey and a pinch of salt with warm water and drink this in the morning on an empty stomach.

5-Herbs and clays: Triphala, ginger, zeolite, activated charcoal, beets

Triphala: Triphala, an ancient Ayurvedic herbal blend, is known for its gentle yet effective bowel cleansing properties. Triphala is made from three powerful fruits – amla, haritaki, and bibhitaki. Triphala helps regulate bowel movements, flush out toxins, and improve overall digestion.

Amla is rich in vitamin C and antioxidants.

Haritaki has natural laxative properties.

Bibhitaki helps to balance the digestive system.

Together they create a powerful combination that supports a healthy colon and intestines.

Ginger: Ginger stimulates digestion. It can be added to smoothies, tea, or eaten directly. A teaspoon of ginger juice and honey can be mixed with a cup of warm water. This can be consumed once or twice daily.

Aloe vera: Aloe vera is not only excellent for soothing skin irritations but can also support colon health. The gel-like substance has natural detoxifying properties that help flush impurities from the colon. Aloe vera also helps soothe inflammation in the digestive tract and promotes a healthy and well-functioning colon.

Mix fresh aloe vera gel with water or juice and consume it to promote a clean and healthy colon. However, be aware that excessive aloe vera consumption can have a laxative effect, so use it in moderation.

Castor oil: Castor oil promotes blood circulation and detoxifies the area where you place your wrap. I wouldn't combine too many other methods with castor oil, as it's a powerful detoxifying agent. You should, however, drink plenty of fluids when detoxing with this oil.

Laxative herbs such as psyllium, aloe vera, marshmallow root, and slippery elm can help constipation.

Common spices like ginger, garlic, and cayenne pepper contain antimicrobial phytochemicals. These are thought to suppress bad bacteria. Garlic is an excellent natural antibiotic. Cayenne pepper is the "blood vessel" herb. It stimulates digestion.

7-Foods with "natural" starch: --> potatoes, rice, bananas, grains

8 Fermented foods --> good source of probiotics

C-Water rinse that you do at home:

1. Water Flush: To cleanse the colon, it is recommended to drink six to eight glasses of lukewarm water, juice, or smoothie per day. At the bottom of this blog post, you'll find links to blogs about water flushing. Or search online for "Water Flush Colon" in English; you'll find plenty of information on how to do this. See the article.

Saltwater rinse (water flush): This is a mixture of water, salt, and lemon juice. You'll find recipes at the bottom of the links.

Most methods involve increasing fluid intake. If you want to cleanse your bowels, you need fluids.

You can't apply them all at once. Some can be combined.

ree

Do not take a probiotic supplement if you have fungus or parasites

You'll find many articles online claiming you can take probiotics to cleanse your gut or treat fungus or parasites. If you already have bacterial overgrowth in your gut, it's unwise to create more.

In the video, Ayurvedic physician Dr. Vivek Joshi also confirms that it is best not to take probiotics if you suffer from bacterial overgrowth.

From 3:30 onwards, the Ayurvedic doctor advises against taking probiotics if you have an overgrowth. See the video on YouTube.

The Importance of Drinking Water for Your Gut Health

Drinking plenty of water and staying hydrated is the easiest way to regulate digestion.

Using water is one of the easiest and safest ways to naturally cleanse the colon.

Drinking enough water is important for:

-Smooth bowel movements

-Healthy digestion,

-Remove toxins --> natural cleansing

-Absorb nutrients

-Maintaining the healthy mucosal lining of the colon

Water moistens the stool and adds bulk, facilitating its passage through the colon. A dehydrated person will have fewer bowel movements because their body is trying to retain water.

It absorbs water from the intestines, making stool dry, hard, and difficult to pass. Everyone's daily hydration needs are different, but it's crucial to drink enough water throughout the day.

Other drinks, such as coffee, energy drinks, sugary drinks and alcohol, will actually dehydrate you.

An Iranian physician , Batmanghelidj Fereydoon (1931-2004), spent years researching the importance of water. In his book, he listed 46 reasons why we should drink water and 27 miracles why we should eat salt. His book is available in English and Dutch.
